Butter Mafia had great unrealised potential but their branding and marketing were inconsistent. Wanting to increase their retail component, their marketing and website needed a review and overhaul. Their site had an outdated design, unattractive product photos, and was difficult to navigate.
What we did
We began with an analysis of Butter Mafia’s current branding and website and mapped out a redesign based on ecommerce best practice with a focus on improving the experience for the customer. The website design was complemented by professional photos of all the Butter Mafia products. These photos were also used to promote Butter Mafia on social media and paid ads.
Analysis was undertaken on understanding customer behaviours when they visited the Butter Mafia website and tweaks on the design and layout were put in place based on the findings. For example, clearly displaying delivery information and moving best sellers and specials further up the home page vastly improved the customer experience.
In conjunction with the site design, there was also a focus on increasing Butter Mafia’s online presence. This was done via a targeted influencer campaign, social media engagement, Facebook paid ads, and monthly newsletters.
Butter Mafia’s website transformed from a tired design to one that was fresh, modern, and most importantly showcased their delicious products in a tempting and logical way.
In the few months following the website update, and in conjunction with the targeted influencer campaign, social media marketing, and paid ads, Butter Mafia saw an increase of over 110% in total sales and over 100% increase in total orders (compared to the previous months).
