In order to transition the Visit Swan Hill brand to the digital space, Swan Hill Incorporated appointed Crackling Media to oversee their marketing activities. A strong and comprehensive social media strategy was integral to showcasing the Swan Hill region as a premier tourism destination to a wider audience. Crackling Media formulated an overall objective of ‘driving more visitors, more often and for longer’ to the Heart of the Murray, using it as a measure to assess all modules including SEO development, content creation, social media management, graphics design and public relations. Due to Visit Swan Hill’s heightened online presence, there has been an increase in brand awareness as users continue to engage with the online content and express interest in visiting the region.
